Lauren White ( age 13) Starts up a 5+ ( 5.10 A) in the Cave on the fourth day.

Sardinia Coastline

Brad leads a 5 (5.9) Sport route in the cave.

Cala Fulli at the end of the coast road. Many short sport routes right on the beach.

Ian White (age 17) leads a 5+ (5.9 +) the cave.

The Cave on the fourth day. A 20 minute hike from Cala Gonome up the coast. A beach sand bottom makes for a wonderful place to hang out for the day with the family.

Climbing at Looking Glass

I took a break from winter and the IMCS office and went down to Looking glass rock in North Carolina.

I went with my good friend,
Juliet Dickinson, of Conway, NH

Here is a view of the cliff at a distance.

We stayed in a beautiful little cottage at the "Pine's Country Inn"
(this one was not a dirt bag trip...)

We climbed the "Rat's Ass", a well protected crack

and "The Nose"

It was beautiful exposed granite

with sometimes scary run-outs between these dents they call "the eyebrows".
